Particulates
Biologist visited today. As we were discussing the color of the salt, which changed depending on weather and wind, he mentioned the particulates in the salt. The organic and inorganic material in the salt. The particulates can only be viewed through a microscope.

Arrival at Field Station
arrived mid-morning, unpacked and set up work area. Been busy! since there was a storm last night I went treasure hunting on the shore to see what washed up. refer to pic. several turtles, too. I plan on trying to print them on a salt print and cyanotype which I plan on applying to canvas fabric. Similar to old sailcloth. I’ve set out a heavy aluminium cookie pan with saltwater to see how long it takes to evaporate and leave the salt. It is currently sitting out in the sun. T
